FAR 1400Carl Giammarese, co-founder of The Buckinghams, speaks out on the experience of performing at the White House for two U.S. presidents, ace songwriter Jim Holvay’s influence upon the group’s creative and commercial fortunes, the significance of the band’s music to American military veterans, and additional topics.

Hits include ‘Kind of a Drag,’ ‘Don’t You Care,’ ‘Hey, Baby (They’re Playing Our Song)‘, and other top sellers from the Flower Power era.  A version of the ensemble, led by original members Giammarese (guitar/lead vocals) and Nick Fortuna (bass/vocals), continues to perform concerts worldwide.
